The Kindergarten and the Cosme Argerich School already have natural gas, as part of the first stage of works that the municipality of Villa Santa Cruz del Lago is carrying out.

This initiative marks a historic milestone for the town, since for the first time natural gas circulates through its streets.

In an official ceremony held this Wednesday, Mayor Omar De Giovanni, together with the Secretary of Infrastructure Coordination, Gustavo Brandan; the Undersecretary of Gas Infrastructure, Rubén Borello; and the director of Ersep, Mariana Caserio, inaugurated the natural gas service at the Cosme Argerich Kindergarten, which also has its lines at the Cosme Argerich Primary School.

The work of this first stage consists of 980 meters of natural gas network, which can now be accessed by more than 270 fronters benefiting from the passage of these conduits.

The work is part of the planning of Mayor De Giovanni, who prioritized educational institutions as the first to access this essential service.

The municipality aims to expand the natural gas network to also benefit institutions in the tourism sector, in order to enhance their competitiveness.

‘The arrival of natural gas to Villa Santa Cruz del Lago represents a significant advance in the development of the town. It is a step towards a more modern, sustainable and prosperous future for all its inhabitants’, the municipality highlighted.
