The Bolívar legislator referred to the Enargas resolution that regulates Law 27,629. “We will continue working to regulate 100% of the benefits of the Law,” he said.

Eduardo “Bali” Bucca celebrated the Enargas resolution that applies the benefit of free gas to Volunteer Firefighters through the regulations of Law 27,629.

After the recent complaints about the high bills that volunteer fire stations received, especially due to the high cost of electrical energyit was announced this week that Enargas adhered to Law 27,629. This law, in force since 2021, establishes a Special Rate Regime for volunteer firefightersbut it had not yet been regulated.

The National Gas Regulatory Entity (Enargas) issued a resolution establishing that volunteer fire stations throughout the country will be exempt from paying for gas service through networks. Gas bills will include the “Bonus Law 27,629”, which guarantees free service, complying with a law that had not been properly implemented for several years.

Provincial senator Dr. Eduardo “Bali” Bucca, author of Law 27,629, expressed his joy for this important measure: “I am very pleased to share excellent news with volunteer firefighters throughout the country: We have managed to implement the Special Free Tariff Regime instituted in Chapter I of Law No. 27,629. This measure aims strengthen the National Volunteer Firefighters System of the Argentine Republic, guaranteeing free essential public services for our entities. Hereinafter, Gas bills will include the ‘Bonus Law 27,629’ with a negative sign, ensuring that they are free for all registered entities.”.

Network gas supply companies have already received instructions to include this bonus in their invoices. of users registered in the National Registry of Volunteer Fire Entities. To access this benefit, entities must complete a form available on the Enargas website, providing the required information.

“This is one more step achieved in the constant commitment we have together with the Volunteer Firefighters Federations, to support and strengthen those who, with courage and dedication, protect and serve our communities. Now we will continue working to regulate 100% of the benefits of the Law, there is still the VAT refund on all purchases made by the Argentine Fire Service, such as equipment, infrastructure and technologies to save lives,” Bucca emphasized. It should be remembered that the legislator had referred to this issue in recent days, within the framework of the National Volunteer Firefighter’s Day.
