Canadian GP 2024: How has ‘Checo’ Pérez fared in free practice?
Since June 7, the Canadian GP with the first two free practice sessions, which were threatened by rainy and cloudy weather, which could affect track conditions and the performance of the drivers.
The Red Bull drivers did not do as expected in the first session, as they ended up in places where they are not usually seen.
Lando Norris closed with the best time: 1:24.435, followed by Sainz and Leclerc. Verstappen reached fifth place and ‘Checo’ Pérez finished in ninth.

Already towards the second practice on Friday, with sections of the track that were still wet from the rain, the choice of tires was complicated for the drivers, who decided to experiment and ‘with a good eye’ determined what to use.
Once again, it was not a good session for the Austrian team, because while Max Verstappen showed problems in his RB20, which left the track for inspection and did not return, ‘Checo’ Pérez did not do better than in PL1, because now finished in tenth place.
This second practice was led by Fernando Alonso, who set the best time in the afternoon with 1:15.810, followed by George Russell and Lance Stroll, who is competing at home.
