It happened at 4:50 a.m.
The Uco Valley Road Police Deputy Headquarters reported on a tragic accident that occurred in the early morning of June 8, 2024, at 04:50 a.m., on Route 88, 8 km west of Route 40.
Two vehicles were involved in the incident. The first, a Volkswagen Senda with domain TIJ-733, driven by Gustavo R, who unfortunately died at the scene. The companions, VM, AR, RR and BR, were transferred to the Scaravelli hospital.
The second vehicle, a gray Chevrolet Corsa with domain name FJB839, was driven by DS. The subject’s blood alcohol test was positive, with a level of 1.13 g/l. The companions, B. P and LP, were also taken to the hospital.
The Volkswagen Senda was reportedly traveling west when, for reasons still unknown, it collided with the Chevrolet Corsa traveling east to west on Route 88. Although the road was in good condition, the lack of artificial light at the scene could have contributed to the accident.
Ambulances arrived at the scene and took the injured to Scaravelli hospital. Dr. Natalia Sosa, with registration number 14479, confirmed the death of Gustavo R.
