The vote for the Vox candidate for the European elections Ana García León – she appears on the far-right party’s list as the last of the substitutes – has been punctuated by an incident that has not failed to draw the attention of the members of the table, the journalists and voters who have had the opportunity to witness it.
The scene took place at the Abyla institute. Minutes before, one of the table presidents had already caught the attention of journalists for not having requested permission to record in the school premises. Standing, with a commanding tone, he addressed his colleagues at other tables to ask them if they granted such authorization, a request that has not been attended to by the rest of the presidents. The journalists have ended up doing their job.
The zeal shown by the president was but the prelude to the singular behavior shown by one of his colleagues. The Vox candidate was preparing to put the vote in the ballot box when the president of the table celebrated it with a “For Spain!” García León has not left the request that was thrown at him unanswered. Smiling, the candidate replied: “There, there, always, always.”
