MADRID, June 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Sumar’s candidate in the European elections, Estrella Galán, has warned that democracy and freedoms are “at stake” and, for this reason, she has indicated that “we must go out and vote” in these European elections.

Galán has pointed out that citizens with their ballot can “direct” the pace and the path towards “one direction or another”, in statements to the media after voting at the Nuestra Señora de la Almudena School in Madrid.

According to Galán: “Today we have to go out and vote because democracy is at stake, freedoms are at stake, and I precisely believe that citizens have to vote. Of course, with their vote they can direct the pace in one direction or another.”

“We hope that all citizens are encouraged to go out and vote with joy, with calm, that it will be a calm day and we hope that the results are the best possible to bring the best proposal to Europe,” indicated the head of the Sumar list, party that is running for the first time in European elections.
