Julio González

After the loss of Luis Malagón due to injury, the 33-year-old goalkeeper aims to start the Mexican National Team during the Copa América, above Raúl Rangel thanks to his poor performance against Uruguay and the recent incorporation of Carlos Acevedo.

Raul Rangel

The goalkeeper was left with a negative balance against Uruguay, with a couple of portraits that ended in a goal, however, the list of goalkeepers eligible for the Mexican National Team is short and his good semester with Chivas is enough guarantee to remain in the call.

Carlos Acevedo

The goalkeeper was called up at the last minute thanks to Luis Malagón’s injury and Jaime Lozano preferred to see his qualities before calling up Guillermo Ochoa to solve the loss of the starting goalkeeper.

Jorge Sanchez

The right back has been one of Jaime Lozano’s favorite players during his management of the Mexican team and is usually a starter when he is in optimal condition.

Cesar Montes

Despite his football moment in clubs, the central defender has been considered by Jaime Lozano as a starter for the gala eleven in the Mexican team, as long as the injuries respect him and the expulsions allow him to do so.

Johan Vasquez

Like Montes, the defender belongs to the stellar starting eleven of the Mexican National Team and everything indicates that he will remain with that category to compete in the Copa América.

Gerardo Arteaga

Despite the poor performance he left against Uruguay and Brazil, the full-back is one of the players with the greatest experience to occupy the left lane and is aiming for the starting position in the absence of Jesús Gallardo.

Edson Alvarez

He delivered poor performances, both in the center of the field and in defense, however, his journey with the team and leadership within the locker room is enough for him to be considered as a starter.

Luis Romo

The presence of Luis Romo within the team allows Jaime Lozano to use Edson Álvarez as a wild card in defense or to refresh the position when the game warrants it, so the midfielder has arguments to be considered on the list.

Orbelin Pineda

The versatile forward can take the right winger or play as a hook behind the center forward, making him an interesting card in the deck, and he also enjoys confidence from Jaime Lozano, especially as a disruptor.

Roberto Alvarado

The ‘Piojo’ carries the label of revulsive on the right wing, usually as a replacement for Uriel Antuna and is also going through a good football moment, which is why he will be part of the final list.

Carlos Rodriguez

The midfielder is one of the most experienced players in the squad, he is enjoying a good football moment and saw minutes as a starter against Brazil, so his status is seen as the team’s protagonist.

Alexis Vega

The forward had a good semester on an individual level with Toluca and left a good feeling against Brazil, enough to rank even above César Huerta and his irregularity with the team.

Julian Quiñones

The attacker did his job against Brazil with a goal, which gives him credit for being considered a starter, despite the team suffering due to his lack of collaboration in defense.

Guillermo Martinez

With few minutes on the field, the center forward generated a shot that ended in a goal against Brazil, in addition to the fact that the call only has Santiago Giménez and him as the axes of attack.

Santiago Gimenez

The center forward aims to be a starter throughout the Copa América, due to his record with Feyenoord throughout the past year, and he is only competing with Guillermo Martínez for a starting position.

Uriel Antuna

The Liga MX scoring champion is a regular starter in Jaime Lozano’s plans and recently left good feelings with what he did against Brazil, in complicity with Alexis Vega.

Israel Kings

The right back faced Brazil as a starter and suffered from having an elite team in front of him, as he was badly stopped on repeated occasions, in addition to showing little understanding with his teammates.

Victor Guzman

Against Uruguay it left bitter feelings due to the power of the rival and few frictions against more competitive teams that the Mexican National Team faces within its comfort zone.

Jesus Orozco

The central defender also did poorly against Uruguay due to lack of experience, although he predicts a good future with the national team.

Fernando Beltran

The Mexican team relies heavily on better midfielders to occupy a place in the starting eleven, and the poor performance they delivered against Uruguay leaves them in an uncomfortable position to argue for an important role.

Cesar Huerta

The forward has Julián Quiñones and Alexis Vega ahead of him in the race for the title, however, the shortage of players with some experience in the Mexican National Team is not extensive, so he has a place on the list.

Red light

Marcelo Flores

The youth player did not see minutes against Uruguay and Brazil, although he showed improvement on the field during this semester with Tigres.

Brian Garcia

The Mexican team has Jorge Sánchez and Israel Reyes to occupy the right side, so their presence is not strictly necessary, in addition to showing inexperience in facing high-caliber duels.

Alexis Pena

The defender is not usually called up to the Mexican National Team, which has the starting pair in César Montes and Johan Vásquez, in addition to Jesús Orozco and Víctor Guzmán as replacements, as well as Edson Álvarez if required.

Bryan Gonzalez

The forward did not see minutes on the FIFA Date and the Mexican National Team has more experienced players to face the tournament.

Jordan Carrillo

The forward also did not see minutes during the FIFA Date and the list of players contains names with greater experience and confidence for Jaime Lozano.

Andres Montano

The midfielder left good impressions against Bolivia, but was deleted for the duels against Uruguay and Brazil.
