As part of the investigations derived from a explosion in the Acapulco socket which left nine people injured, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Guerrero ruled out that the incident was caused by any device, as the preliminary versions suggested.

According to the state agency, the explosion was not caused by a bomb or some homemade device, but by the alleged fuel accumulation.

“According to the evidence located at the place of intervention and taking into account the characteristics they present, the existence of fuel (gasoline) was determined, which produced a flashthere being no signs of an explosive device,” the corporation explained in a statement.

This was the conclusion reached by the work of agents of the Ministerial Investigative Police (PIM) and specialized experts from the Expert Services, who went to the scene of the events to gather evidence.
