They will hold massive free events in Torreón for Make Music Day

This June 21, several free simultaneous concerts will be held in Torreón for Make Music Day, a global celebration of music that takes place every year on that date. It’s a day where musicians of all ages, abilities and genres come together and play in public spaces.

The Plaza Mayor, the Casa del Cerro, Bosque Urbano, Plaza de Armas, Arocena Museum and Terrace and Avenida Morelos between Calzada Colón and Calle Javier Mina, will be the stages where various groups, soloists and disc jockeys from the region will offer their respective proposals.

The Plaza Mayor will have this cast: Liberato, at 8:00 p.m.; Cadereira, at 9:00 p.m. and Mi Barrio Colombiano at 10:15 p.m.

The Youth Symphony will play at the Casa del Cerro starting at 8:00 p.m., while the Bosque Urbano will receive the Municipal Band at 6:00 p.m.

Concerts in La Laguna.

The Arocena Terrace will feature the talent of DJs; Humphrey Bear, Nando, Maister, Brolozio and Vicente Fajer.

The cast that will do their part in the Plaza de Armas, Museo Arocena and the stage of Paseo Morelos will soon be announced.

According to the organizers, the purpose of these events is for Make Music Day to join Torreón and for the city to sound like never before.

They stressed that the concerts will be held without profit and that they have the support of the Municipality, the Directorate of Culture and the Directorate of Tourism.
