The latest appointments in the economic team confirm the strengthening of Luis Caputo and Santiago Bausili in management. Through the Official Gazette it was confirmed the appointment of the economist Federico Furiase as director of the Central Bank, in replacement of lawyer Agustín Pesce, who had been appointed at the beginning of this administration.

At the same time, the Government confirmed modifications in the board of BICE (Investment and Foreign Trade Bank)with the incorporations as directors of the economists Martín Vauthier, another of Caputo’s advisors in Economics and ex-Anker; Felipe Núñez and the lawyer Augusto Ardiles, who was part of the team led by Luciano Laspina during Patricia Bullrich’s presidential campaign. He is a specialist in economic law and close to deputy Cristian Ritondo.
The appointments were confirmed this morning through decrees published in the Official Gazette, just after the general approval of the Bases law in the Senate, and confirm the advance of the Caputo-Bausili duo on the Government’s economic management bodies.
