Through its YouTube channel, NASA broadcast live audio indicating that a crew member on the International Space Station (ISS) was experiencing the effects of decompression sickness.

The incident was recorded on June 13, around 6:28 pm, where through a live video, NASA transmitted the audio of an emergency that occurred on the ISS, where it was described that one of the astronauts was being treated for decompression leaving onlookers stunned by what was happening.

This fact quickly went viral on social networks where Internet users shared that they thought the worst when they heard the voice of a woman asking the crew to put the commander’s suit back on, as well as to check his pulse and provide him with oxygen, as it sounded as a terrifying situation for the crew.

However, the ISS published through its social networks that it was all a mistake and explained that it was all about training in which the audio was part of a simulation in which an emergency occurred in space, where one of the astronauts was in danger.
