Two spanisha woman and her 10-year-old daughter, are among the four people that have dead as a consequence of a burst in a residential building in the Belgian city of Hoboken, very close to Antwerp (Belgium).
The government of Ceuta has issued a statement confirming that it is a 42-year-old mother and her 10-year-old daughter, both residents of the autonomous city.
The president of the Autonomous City, Juan Vivas, expressed this Friday after hearing the news his condolences “on behalf of all the people of Ceuta” to the family and friends of the deceased. The first to join in the lamentations were the members of the Down Syndrome Association from Ceuta, of which the daughter, Houda, began to be part of in 2016, when she was only three years old.
“Mother and daughter They were very loved both by users and by the professionals of our association. We greatly regret this irreparable loss and they will always be in our hearts,” they stated from the entity.
Houda, the association explained, stood out for being “a nice girl full of life.” “Her spirit and her positive energy,” she added, “she leaves a indelible mark within the entity”.
“In these moments of deep sadness, we want to express our solidarity and support to the loved ones of Mina and Houda. May they find comfort and strength to overcome this difficult moment,” they concluded.

Explosion in a building
The explosion, which occurred on Thursday, destroyed the upper part of the building and since then firefighters have been working through the rubble to look for to possible victims.
After locating three bodies yesterday, this morning they found a fourth and continue efforts to search for a neighbor who has not given news since the event.
In addition, there are three seriously injured and another three slightly injured as a result of the explosion, the causes of which are still being investigated by the authorities, who consider that it was due to a gas leak, among other hypotheses.
