The day commemorates the creation and implementation of the first Engineering degree in the Argentine Republic. In 1855 Carlos Enrique Pellegrini, president between 1890 and 1892, proposed to the rector of the University of Buenos Aires to create the degree. Thus the first Faculty of Engineering in Buenos Aires was born.
The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Mendoza offers the opportunity to study Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Bioengineering.
Our graduates are professionals with the ingenuity to look beyond, solve problems by providing engineering solutions to each new challenge. Professionals trained to take on the technological challenges of a society that is undergoing a change of era, on a global level.
