Impulsa Startup is a program for those companies or entrepreneurs throughout the province of Palencia that have a technology-based business idea. It consists of receiving advice, support, accompaniment and mentoring for the development, growth and/or expansion of your business model to finally present it to potential investors.

This innovative program with which the Chamber of Spain and the network of Chambers of Commerce aim to reach 350 entrepreneurs and 250 projects and startups this year, is co-financed by the ESF+ within the framework of the Education and Training, Employment and Social Economy Program (2021 – 2027).

The Impulsa Startup Program aims to enhance the national entrepreneurial ecosystem by helping companies and entrepreneurs make their projects a reality. A program to support and accelerate emerging startups in which the Palencia Chamber of Commerce will help promote and scale the business model of technology-based companies from Palencia to finally present it to potential investors.

The Palencia Chamber of Commerce will participate in the second Phase called “Despega”, aimed at promoting Palencia technology-based projects and startups that, with a minimum viable product, will continue building their project with specialized tutors and expert mentors. The participating entrepreneurs or companies will also have the opportunity to present themselves at a Demo Day before a jury with experience in the startup ecosystem that will evaluate the projects, and in which the best project will receive a prize of up to €4,800 and the second one €1,600.

The call for entrepreneurs or companies registered in a municipality in the province of Palencia is now open. The bases of the call and mode of presentation can be seen in detail through the Cámara Palencia website https://cocipa.es/impulsa-startup.

Specifically, companies or entrepreneurs who have a project in which they already have a minimum viable product (MVP) or a prototype of their product tested in the market at the time of submitting the application may participate in this call.

The startup support and acceleration program, Impulsa Startup, began its journey in 2024 with the collaboration of 30 Chambers of Commerce. It has the financial support of the European Social Fund, to provide entrepreneurs with advice, support, accompaniment and mentoring for the constitution, development, growth and expansion of a startup.
