Quite a surprise was the announcement by Don Omar, one of the greatest exponents of reggaeton in the world, when he confirmed that he suffers from cancer. The news was spread by the interpreter of songs such as The sun came out, tell him and Yesterday I saw her through his Instagram account, with a photograph in which in his hand he shows the admission tape to a hospital in Orlando, Florida.

“Today yes, but tomorrow I won’t have cancer,” wrote the so-called king of reggaeton in the hope of a speedy recovery. “Good intentions are well received. see you soon. #fuckcancer,” wrote the musician. Shortly after issuing the statement on his social networks, the reggaeton singer received several messages of support from his colleagues in the genre, as well as from other musicians with whom he has worked.
