What does it mean to be observant?. FDFA explains to Newtral.es that observer countries or organizations in principle do not participate with a vote, although the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople requested to do so due to its commitment and active stance with peace in Ukraine.

What is this document? It is a joint declaration of 82 countries and organizations developed within the framework of the peace summit in Ukraine whose objective is to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the region. Three topics have been the main objects of debate at the summit, as reported by La Moncloa:

  • Nuclear safety.
  • Food safety.
  • The humanitarian dimension of war.

The list may change. The FDFA clarifies to Newtral.es that the list of signatory countries is not definitive and, therefore, may be subject to modifications.
