The latest Nintendo Direct has brought a surprising number of new games to the Nintendo Switch, which is already in its final years, probably months before the launch of its successor Switch 2, but it will have new games like The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Metroid Prime 4 or Mario & Luigi.
But we know that Nintendo is very keen on alternating new games with remasters of classic games, or not so classic ones, but that are already a few years old and are looking to reach a new audience.
This is the case of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, which comes out next week, and the next “HD” will be the good Donkey Kong, with the adventure launched on Wii in 2010: Donkey Kong Country Returns.

This new version will have no new features, so it will be the Wii game as is, with the levels added in the Wii version. 3DS from 2013, which was the most complete by having an extra world when you beat the game.
It’s a pity that there is no news: Nintendo is going the easiest route with this game, which cannot be reserved yet and we do not know its price: Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD costs 60, but Metroid Prime Remastered cost 40 euros…and it seemed much more worked than this one.
In any case, if you’ve never played it, it will seem like a new game, such was the quality of Retro Studios’ game (who also presented the renewed Metroid Prime 4: Beyond in the Direct).
80 2D levels through jungles, caves, volcanoes, with Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong (can be played in local co-op). The only new thing is some help to reduce the difficulty, because it was a very hard game, much more than something like Mario Bros. Wonder…
