The use of digital platforms has experienced significant growth in Misiones. They boost the economy and generate new job opportunities, especially among young people.

Online platforms in the province constantly mark growth in the generation of resources and the creation of job opportunities. This phenomenon is especially observed in young people, who find in the digital field a space to train and work autonomously. The versatility and accessibility of the platforms allow professionals from various areas to integrate and develop their careers in an innovative way.

Manage online communities

Paola Dos Santos, a young community manager with four years of experience, is a clear example of how digital platforms can transform a career. “I started with my own account called ‘Let’s Talk About Food’, where I made content for the Food Engineering degree, which is what I study. Since I received people’s approval, I wanted to take it more seriously and study to be a community manager developing different courses. Today I continue training, already with work at the Casa del Streaming and freelance clients,” she explained.

The role of the community manager is crucial in the digital age, as they execute strategies for personal or commercial brands on social networks. “In Misiones I notice that there is a lot of demand for community managers. Especially for example in businesses, service providers and fundamentally in the health sector. That’s why you have to be encouraged to show what you do, offer this job, communicate with the accounts. The opportunity is there,” commented Dos Santos.

Generate income through digital investments

For his part, the young missionary Franco Escudero has found trading to be a solid and flexible activity. “Trading is the buying and selling of financial assets with the aim of obtaining an economic benefit. These assets can include stocks, currencies, commodities, cryptocurrencies and other financial instruments. It can be done in different markets, such as the stock market, the foreign exchange market, the futures market and the cryptocurrency market,” he explained.

For Escudero, the province is experiencing a “digital transformation that not only drives economic growth but also democratizes job opportunities. The accessibility of online platforms allows anyone, regardless of their age or level of professionalism, to generate income and develop professionally,” he added.

In this sense, he highlighted Silicon Misiones and the School of Robotics, “focused on the education of programmers, business development and the application of emerging technologies. “It fosters interest in science and technology, and ensures that young missionaries are equipped with the skills necessary to compete in a globalized work environment.”

The testimony of Paola Dos Santos and Franco Escudero illustrates how new technologies are redefining the labor market and offering new forms of work and earning. With constant support for the development of digital skills and the adoption of new technologies, Misiones is positioned as a benchmark in generating employment through online platforms.
