It was a few weeks ago that the princess reappeared Kalina from Bulgaria, daughter of King Simeon of Bulgaria and Margarita Gómez-Acebo. Her image went viral on social networks, showing a noticeable physical change.

It was at the end of May when the family gathered to pay tribute to Ferdinand I of Bulgaria, first tsar of that extinct dynasty.

It was an important act in that country, taking into account that the remains of that monarch had been recovered after 76 years.

Kalina from Bulgaria was accompanied by her husband, Kitín Muñoz, an explorer from that country whom she married in the 90s.

It was the woman herself who explained her physical change in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, ensuring that she is actively dedicated to high-performance sports.

“I am dedicated to training with weight loads and the health of the body,” he explained on the occasion.

“I have competed for 15 years in Morocco in national and international championships, representing Bulgaria; “The first time I saw the Bulgarian flag in a competition, because I was the only Bulgarian horsewoman, it filled me with pride,” she added.

“I have always wanted to live here. I got married in Bulgaria, I had my son Simeon in Bulgaria. And now I fulfill a dream: to live in Bulgaria. Our day to day life is like that of any family,” he concluded.

Regarding the changes in her face, her husband assured years ago that it was a operation to “save his life”, discarding aesthetic purposes.

“When Kalina was eight years old, she broke both of her teeth at school. In 1999, studying art in London, she went to a dentist to get covers with the bad luck that the dentist drilled too much into the base of the bone. This caused serious problems, an infection and a new intervention,” she explained on the occasion.
