The Provincial Directorate of Gas Networks of San Juan announced this Tuesday that they are working intensively to restore gas service and improve facilities in the province’s schools. They highlighted that many of these buildings had been out of service for one or two years, which has generated new deficiencies. Besides, Ecogas’ lack of updated documentation and inspection deadlines contributed to the delays.

Until now, Of the 24 affected schools, gas service has been restored in 8, and work continues on the remaining ones. Besides, Work is being carried out in 52 establishments to comply with safety regulations and be able to build the site provided by Ecogas.

They also explained that Approximately 20 complaints are managed daily with the support of three contracted companies. In remote areas, schools receive care from contractor companies. Ecogas inspections are ongoing, carried out by Gas Network personnel and specialized companies, to ensure that the facilities comply with regulations.
