Orsomarso and Llaneros will fight for the first title of the Colombian soccer promotion tournament

The Colombian soccer promotion tournament is looking for a champion. This Wednesday, June 19, Orsomarso and Llaneros Faces will be seen again to define the team that lifts the title of the Betplay I tournament and continues on the path of dreaming of promotion to the first division of the national league.

In the first match played in Valle del Cauca, Llaneros managed to gain an important advantage, as they got a draw that puts the Villavicencio team closer to the tournament title, while Orsomarso will seek to recover the lost ground at home and accomplish the feat in visitor status.

Llaneros will seek the title in the promotion tournament

Prior to what will be the second leg of the grand final of the promotion tournament, Martín Cardetti, coach of Llaneros, was calm about what his team can do at home, ensuring that the support of the fans will be essential for them to the Villavicencio team can become champion.

“We have to do our job. There are eleven of us on the field and 18,000 in the stadium. We represent an important area which is the plain and it will be a nice final. I hope we can obtain that title,” were the words of the Llanero coach prior to the grand final commitment.

It is worth mentioning that Llanero reached the grand final of the promotion tournament after being first in group B with 11 points, managing to surpass Unión Magdalena, Cúcuta Deportivo and Deportes Quindío, three teams that were emerging at the beginning of the season as one of the candidates for keep the trophy.

Orsomarso wants to do the feat in Villavicencio

For his part, the Orsomarso coach wants to give a strong blow of authority in the promotion tournament and will seek to accomplish the feat, this in order to collect the grosses they have harvested during the first semester.

“When we arrived we imagined staying there for 3 or 4 years and taking the project to another level with young players who have great projection. Now, the challenge for this match is to win the title and in the second half to maintain the good things we did,” said Stiven Sánchez, coach of the Valle del Cauca team.
