Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía surprised the King in the celebration of his tenth anniversary as Monarch. After the toast given by Felipe VI, his daughters spoke. Infanta Sofía and Princess Leonor approached the microphone without prior notice, and read a message they had written on the screen of their mobile phone: “Sorry for sneaking in, but we also have something to say today,” they justified.

Wink to the young
In the afternoon, the prominence of the commemorative events also continued with the help of Princess Leonor and her sister, Infanta Sofía, who wanted to give a nod to young people of their generation. At 8:00 p.m. they arrived by official car to the Gallery of the Royal Collections, attached to the Royal Palace, where together with a group of 40 young people between 17 and 20 years old they took a guided tour led by the writer María Dueñas. A tour to which the kings joined, also by surprise.
