The Basement – Doctor Explosion; living uncivilized

We spent the first part of today’s episode with an album that we could already consider a classic of Iberian garage, if something like that exists. “Vivir sin civilizar” was released in 1992, the debut album by young Doctor Explosion that has just been reissued with a few tweaks and improvements. It is the perfect excuse to get its three original members together, Jorge, Felix and Varo, so that they can remind us of those times in the first person. In the second section of the episode we leave a small tribute to the late James Chance, the great icon of New York No Wave.
