Everything is ready for Make Music Day to be celebrated this Friday in the Lagunera Region.
Soloists and groups of various genres will perform at various points in Torreón.
Make Music Day is a global celebration of music that takes place every year on that date. It’s a day where musicians of all ages, abilities and genres come together and play in public spaces.
Rafa y los toxicos, Liberatto, Mi Barrio Colombiano and Cadereira will appear in the Plaza Mayor.
Each of them will offer the public their songs and style, which has “Rafa” very excited, as he told El Siglo de Torreón in an interview.
“We feel very grateful and lucky to be participating in this festival because it is a very important platform for music at a local and national level.
“We are very excited to be able to bring you a little bit of our art through music and what we have been doing in recent years and it is a masterful opportunity that the same people from our same audience have given us,” he said.
Obviously, Rafa and the toxic people have prepared an explosive participation that will surely transcend.
“We have rehearsed the show quite a bit. We will release new versions of very well-known songs, trying to include electronic sounds in songs that are iconic for all people; the show in general, because it is full of a lot of energy, a lot of dynamism, of interaction with the public, very explosive, I would say.
In that sense, the singer reported that it is a great opportunity for all local talents looking for a place in the industry.
“And the fusion that is going to be generated that day is also great, father; we will be alongside colleagues from other musical genres and we are the only pop rock on that stage (in the Plaza Mayor), so I think that the mix that will be made of rhythms “It’s going to be very interesting there.”
