What I want is for there to be internal elections between all the democratic parties and all of us who want to aspire to the presidential seat, like myself, and whoever wins, we will all support,” he said in dialogue with Infobae Perú.

Regarding the union with The Fair, He stated that there are coincidences with some of the objectives of this group. “There is Alberto De Belaunde, I am updating his bills. For example, in the Purple Party there was equal marriage, the gender identity law, so I will fight in the Commission so that these rights are included,” he said.

On the other hand, Paredes asserted that the presence of Miguel del Castilloson of the APRA leader Jorge Del Castillo, will not affect the aspirations of Primero La Gente. “The majority of us are social democrats, social Christians, there are people from the center-left, from the center-right,” he indicated.

Regarding the complaints about non-compliance with remuneration in a company in Del Castillo, he assured that this seems “reprehensible, but that is what the company has to do with and it has to pay its workers.”
