After the breakage of a main pipe in Mendoza, Ecogas announced the restriction of gas in the industry and asked users to reduce home consumption as much as possible, as reported from the entity’s official X account.

“Residential users of the gas service in the province of San Juan are especially requested to restrict their consumption as much as possible to guarantee the integrity of the system,” they communicated on social networks. In addition, large CNG users and distributors in the province are affected.

The event occurred at noon this Friday, so Ecogas reported that the technical teams are working on the repair of a trunk duct in what they considered a break due to the “negligent” intervention of a third party. It is estimated that the problem will last for approximately two days.

Based on what happened, the distributor activated security measures, clearing the area and notifying the different organizations that are currently collaborating in prevention and support.
