“Ecogas informs that its technical teams are working on the repair of a trunk conduit that suffered a break as a result of the negligent intervention of a third party outside the firm. The tasks are carried out in the vicinity of the city of San Juan and it is estimated that they will last approximately two days.
This Friday, June 21, at noon, a gas pipeline that feeds different areas in the province of San Juan broke, following the intervention of a third party, who was carrying out damage to a crop field.
Once the fact was reported, Ecogas immediately activated security and trunk repair operations. The first measure consists of securing the area and giving notice and intervention to the different organizations that collaborate in prevention and support tasks.
Meanwhile, and to maintain the performance of the system, the supply of gas to industries, large users and CNG in the province of San Juan has been restricted.
Residential users of the gas service in the province of San Juan are especially requested to restrict their consumption as much as possible to guarantee the integrity of the system.”
