Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won are about to face their biggest crisis in “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon”!
Directed by director Ahn Pan Seok of the hit drama “Something in the Rain,” tvN’s “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” is a love story set against the backdrop of Daechi, a neighborhood known as the epicenter of private education in Korea due to its high concentration of hagwons (private educational institutions).

In the previous episode of “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon,” Woo Seung Hee (Kim Jung Young) and Choi Hyung Sun (Seo Jeong Yeon) played their last card: exposing Seo Hye Jin (Jung Ryeo Won) and Lee Joon’s relationship Ho (Wi Ha Joon) and turn it into a “teacher-student scandal.”
In new stills from the drama’s next episode, things turn ugly at Daechi Chase as the couple faces the consequences of their romance becoming public. Seo Hye Jin stands frozen in place as she watches a livid Lee Joon Ho, who appears to be about to get into a physical fight. As Lee Joon Ho is unable to contain his fury, several people have to hold him back while he angrily confronts someone.
Yoon Ji Seok (Jang In Sub), who uncovered the scandal that led to this mess, looks coldly at Seo Hye Jin, while Nam Chung Mi (So Ju Yeon) has an unreadable expression amidst the chaos.
Later, Seo Hye Jin breaks down crying alone in the counseling room of the hagwonrevealing how much he is struggling emotionally with everything that has happened to him in the last few days.
A final photo shows Lee Joon Ho with red eyes and a pained expression, raising the question of how the couple will cope with the fallout from their scandal.
“The Seo Hye Jin and Lee Joon Ho scandal will grow to the point where it can no longer be controlled,” the drama’s production team said. “Please tune in to find out if these two, facing the biggest crisis of their lives, will be able to maintain both their careers and their love.”
