With an emotional message and mariachi, the SSC celebrated the ERUM first responders on “Paramedic Day”

In recognition of their laudable work that they provide quickly, efficiently and above all with a vocation for service in situations in which the population presents injuries that sometimes put their lives at risk, the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City, Through the Undersecretary of Citizen Participation and Crime Prevention, congratulated and celebrated the members of the Rescue and Medical Emergencies Squadron (ERUM) on “Paramedic Day.”

It was at the facilities of this specialized body of the SSC, located on Chimalpopoca Street, in the Obrera neighborhood, in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office, where the Undersecretary of Citizen Participation and Crime Prevention, Paulina Salazar Patiño, attended the roll call of The ERUM paramedics, prior to the start of their first aid services in favor of the capital’s population, expressed to them that “they should feel proud of all their work and everything they have left on the streets for the benefit of citizens.” .

Undersecretary Salazar said “you receive a special, cordial, affectionate and very heartfelt greeting and congratulations on your day, from the Secretary of Citizen Security of the Citizen of Mexico City, Chief Commissioner Pablo Vázquez Camacho,” and added that “the recognition is every day because they risk their lives, every day, at all hours to get to the scene of emergencies.”

Finally, the members of the ERUM were celebrated with different musical pieces by the police mariachi and received an emotional hug from the Undersecretary, and then began their service and continued their work for the benefit of citizens.
