Report from the School Council on the progress of gas works in Varela schools
The Florencio Varela School Board reports on the gas works carried out in school buildings, which are necessary not only for heating classrooms and other facilities, but also for the operation of school cafeterias.
In the month of February, works began with funds related to the beginning of the School Year, intervening in the following institutions:
EP 61/Sec 57- Ep 25/Sec 18- Ep 48/Sec 30- Ep 44/Sec 54- Ep 59/Sec 62- Ep 11- Ep 53/Sec 48- Ep 47- Ep 21- Sec 63- Sec 1- SUM Technique 2- CFI 935/939
During the months of March and April, after the various interventions by the Metrogas Company, there are supply cuts in several schools. The District receives a subsidy from the DGCyE to begin the necessary arrangements as requested by the aforementioned Company. It is highlighted that contracting is carried out through Public Bidding that follows the regulatory procedure.
In this sense, with respect to the last financing, works have already been completed in the following schools:

We understand the absolute need to provide a space in each school that is pleasant so that students can approach the teaching and learning process with peace of mind and be able to access knowledge.
All works are reported to the DGCyE through the School Infrastructure Directorate and supervised by its Inspectors, works carried out by Registered Gas Operators as required by regulations.
