PUMA Cumbre will have a special edition for the CONMEBOL Copa América™ Final

The South American Football Confederation and PUMA launch a special edition of the PUMA Cumbre ball, which will be used on Sunday 06/14, in the final match of the oldest national team tournament in the world.

Inspired by the passion and greatness of South American football, this new design of the PUMA Cumbre ball fuses technological innovation with a touch of elegance. Distinctive gold details and red and blue PUMA logos, representative of the United States flag, stand out against the traditional background of the ball and add an extra shine to the most anticipated soccer event of the year.

The ball stands out for its high-level technology with FIFA Quality Pro guarantees for a maximum level of performance on the field. Its design consists of 12 sealed panels that provide a perfectly balanced weight balance, with widened and deep seams that guarantee a positive effect on aerodynamics. Along with this, it has a PAL (PUMA Air Lock) valve that guarantees optimal air retention throughout the match.

The name PUMA Cumbre is inspired by the mountain range that crosses all of South America, seeking to leave soccer in the region at the top. Its design is based on the shape of the continent where its 16 lines stand out, referring to the total number of countries that will make up the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™. In this way, the ball seeks to unite all the nations that will compete in the oldest and most exciting national team tournament on the continent.

In line with its commitment to constant innovation, PUMA distinguishes itself by always being at the forefront in both its designs and technologies, and the PUMA Cumbre ball is a clear example of this. This special version, enhanced with distinctive gold touches, will be the protagonist in the exciting final of the tournament on July 14 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™️

The CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™️ is played in the United States and includes 10 CONMEBOL teams and 6 guest teams from Concacaf. In this edition, this traditional tournament is organized by both confederations.

All six Concacaf teams qualified through the 2023/24 Concacaf Nations League. The representatives from North, Central America and the Caribbean are the United States, Panama, Jamaica, Mexico, Canada and Costa Rica.

In the 48th edition of one of the continent’s most important competitions, this will be the second time in the tournament’s history that it will host 16 teams – having hosted the same number of teams in its 2016 edition, also held in the United States.

Teams that have won ten FIFA World Cup™️ titles and the biggest stars in world football will take to the field to play 32 matches in this edition of the tournament in June and July 2024.
