Luis Har, Argentine-Israeli freed from Gaza captivitypassed through the microphones of The W, with Julio Sánchez Cristoand recounted how he was kidnapped by Hamas and his release by the Israel Defense Forces.
Har began by clarifying that during his time in captivity he did not receive mistreatment or touching by Hamas members.
Subsequently, He said that on the day they were kidnapped they were in the famous Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip, but he mentioned that after this they were taken to a house where they spent the rest of the time until they were released.
He even stated that on the first day of the kidnapping, when they were in the tunnels, they asked them if they were Jews, to which they responded that they were Argentine and even used the figure of Lionel Messi so that they would understand their nationality.
“We used Messi when we went through the tunnels and they asked us if we were Jews“We told them: ‘Argentines, Messi, Messi’, but it didn’t help us at all.”
How is uncertainty managed?
“The important thing was to know about our lives. We could hardly think and we were only sitting or lying down“We couldn’t decide anything at all: we had to ask to go to the bathroom, to move, and we couldn’t go near the window.”

“I was thinking more about my family than about myself. “Now I think of the families of the 120 hostages who still have no news of their loved ones,” he said.

He said that while they were sleeping they heard a loud explosion in the house they were in, specifically at the balcony door.
“I thought the building was going to fall, then I saw that there was an incredible war in the room and someone grabbed my head and told me ‘Luis, get out, get out, it’s the Israeli Army,” he said.
