A Quiet Place: Day One It has all the silent fans of the saga waiting. This new installment starring Lupita Nyong’o seeks to expand the world presented in 2018 by John Krasinski. Together with his wife, Emily Blunt, they were part of this successful suspense story that became an absolute success and had its sequel in 2020.
This 2024 Michael Sarnoski took the place of Krasinski, the previous director, and released a prequel set several years earlier and that moves away from the Abbott family to focus on a new group of characters who live in an apocalypse in its first instances. Day One It seeks to explain the origins of the very mean world that we previously knew.
The film has a release date set for June 28, however, its first screenings already occurred during the Tribeca Festival earlier this month. That is why the first voices are already beginning to be heard about this long-awaited film and everything indicates that the new proposal is a success.

A Quiet Place: Day One follows a woman named Sam during the early stages of an invasion of New York City by alien creatures with ultrasonic hearing. Along with her, a group of survivors will try to understand what these deadly visitors are, how to avoid them and take the first steps to the new lifestyle of not making a sound.
The script was developed by Sarnoski with the collaboration of Jeff Nichols, who was originally going to direct the film. All this with collaboration and based on the ideas of John Krasinski.
