A 47-year-old man died early Thursday afternoon and a 53-year-old woman was injured after the vehicle they were traveling in left the road on the A-12 (Autovía del Camino), in the municipality. of Legarda.
The accident occurred when the vehicle left the road and collided with the guardrail at kilometer point 16.5 of the A-12, as reported by the Provincial Government.
Upon the arrival of emergency services, the driver of the vehicle, a 47-year-old man, had already died. The advanced life support ambulance has transferred a 53-year-old woman to the University Hospital of Nafarroa, who has a chest trauma, with a reserved prognosis.
The SOS Navarra 112 emergency management center received notification of the incident at 12:08 p.m. and mobilized the medical team on duty from Puente la Reina, a medicalized ambulance, and firefighters from the fire park to the scene. Cordovilla and Civil Guard patrols.
The body of the deceased will be transferred to the Navarro Institute of Legal Medicine, where an autopsy will be performed.
