To date, this information has not been confirmed, but it is known that since his imprisonment (in 2000) his health was affected after he was diagnosed Guillain Barre syndromethe same disease that took the life of Vicente Fernández.
Although Andrade disappeared from the public eye in 2020, he remains in the media to this day, as he is not only the protagonist of one of the darkest chapters in the history of the music industry; but he is also still linked to legal problems for his actions.

For those who grew up in the 90s, the name of this music producer is much better known, and at that time, there was no corner of the world where one did not hear about the Trevi-Andrade clan.
But, to talk about Sergio, we have to go back much further. During the 80s, Andrade was associated with success. He was a singer, musician, composer, arranger, music producer and manager; and he worked with great artists such as Lucero, YuriGualberto Castro, Crystal, César Costa, Joan SebastianIvonne and Ivette and Gloria Trevi; with whom he would later begin a romantic relationship.
Her life became a scandal in 1998, when the book “Glory Through Hell” came to light, written by the former Trevi chorus girl. In 2023, he was sued in a California court by two women who claimed to have been victims of the Trevi-Andrade clan and a few months ago, singer Gloria Trevi countersued him for violence and abuse.
But his scandals have not been the only thing that keeps the former producer in force, in 2023; also his appearances in different parts of the world and the health problems he has presented.
For the US authorities, Andrade is apparently missing, however, several media outlets such as Chisme No Like, suggest that he remains in Spain. In early 2024, he was said to have been hospitalized in Madrid due to health complications; They even revealed that he had been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis.
It was later confirmed that Sergio had been seen in Cancun and was suffering from serious health complications.
A few hours ago, a rumor spread that Sergio lost his life on June 21, in Barcelona; but everything seems to indicate that the news is false.
In its most recent broadcast, the same program that would have warned about Andrade’s death, denied his death thanks to the statements of an alleged nurse who treated the former producer in his last health crisis. The mysterious woman claimed that Andrade has kidney problems, but he was transferred to Mérida for fear that he would be located by the authorities.
It is worth mentioning that, at least until now, none of this can be verified and both the real status and whereabouts of Andrade remain unknown.
