To support the population in the face of the high temperatures registered in Mexicali, Genomma Lab through the organization Direct Relief, carried out the donation of 12 thousand units of Suerox, so that the state DIF can deliver them in different hydration points installed in the town.

The collaboration between Genomma Lab, Direct Relief and the state government, in addition to benefiting the population, seeks to raise awareness about the importance of preserving adequate hydration to avoid health problems considering the temperatures of between 40 and 45 degrees Celsius that are recorded in the Baja California capital.

Genomma Lab has relied on Direct Relief and the Baja California DIF for the delivery of drinks at hydration points

Our commitment is to the well-being of people, which is why we immediately joined the call of Direct Relief and the Government of Baja California to support efforts to combat the effects of the heat wave that significantly affects the population of the entity” commented Alejandro Bastón, Global Leader of Institutional Relations, Social Responsibility and Human Resources at Genomma Lab.

For his part, Eduardo Mendoza, director of Direct Relief in Mexico, mentioned being “We are very proud to collaborate with the State of Baja California, together with Genomma Lab, for the benefit of the citizens. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the work and dedication to achieve the delivery of this donation«.

Direct Relief is a humanitarian organization dedicated to providing Medical help people living in poverty, as well as people affected by emergencies or natural disasters. In fact, Genomma Lab has collaborated with them on other occasions, through the donation of health and personal care products for distribution in emergency areas.

With this action, Genomma Lab reinforces its commitment to the health and well-being of people and continues working to achieve the commitments set out in its 2025 Sustainability Strategy, which seeks to contribute with actions for the comprehensive development of communities through the support of programs such as those supported by Direct Relief.
