Campaign for residents of La Plata to apply for electricity and gas subsidies

The objective of the campaign, coordinated by Julio Alak and OCEBA, is to provide the necessary information so that the most vulnerable can carry out the corresponding procedure. Find out how to do it.

He Municipality of La Plataheaded by Julio Alakand the Electric Power Control Agency of the Province of Buenos Aires (OCEBA) will develop an information and advice campaign for those who have subsidies electricity and gas can be kept.

It is worth remembering that, weeks ago, the national government established that those who have discounts on services based on the data matching promoted during the launch of the benefit, such as retirees, pensioners, people with disabilities and ex-combatants, must register manually to maintain it.

Likewise, those who do not have the subsidy and are within the N2 and N3 categories can apply for it. As a result of this situation, the Commune considers it important to carry out the campaign to disseminate the necessary information and thus reach as many homes as possible.

Users are classified according to their income level, measured in Total Basic Baskets (CBT): N2 (lower income) are those with incomes of up to $828,158.19 net per month, that is, a CBT; users N3 (average income) earn between $828,158.19 and $2,898,553.67, that is, between 1 and 3.5 CBT; and finally, the N1 (higher income users), with monthly incomes above $2,898,553.67, which represents a minimum of 3.5 basic baskets. In the latter case, they do not receive subsidies.

“It is very important that they complete the process and register to keep the subsidy,” emphasized Alak, and added: “From the Municipality we are working to call all the affected sectors so that they are aware of this situation and help them to resolve their doubts and register in the municipal delegations.”

It is for this reason that agents of the Commune schedule meetings with those affected, which are a total of 18 thousand families in our city, while providing assistance in the different party delegations, facilitating and guiding the registration process.

“These 18 thousand households that could lose their subsidies in 30 days must first have information,” emphasized the vice president of OCEBA, Roberto Daoud, and continued: “We are talking about vulnerable sectors, people who need to have a close relationship with the State, and the idea is that they can have the possibility of registering and continue receiving the benefit that corresponds to them.”

To register, interested parties must access the platform “My Argentina” or visit the OCEBA User Service Center, located at 49 No. 687, within the next 30 days.

To register, you must have your ID, electricity and gas bills, personal income data, email address and CUIL number for both the owner and any cohabitants on hand.

Then, you must enter www.argentina.gob.ar/subsidios or access the application My Argentinaclick on “Register for RASE”, accept that the information declared is true and complete the questions.

Finally, it is very important to note that, Those who do not register until August 5, inclusive, will completely lose the subsidy and will have to pay the full bill.as do users at level N1, who are those with the highest income. For this reason, it is very important that users complete the application.
