A paramedic found dead in his home with his girlfriend turned out to be “999: On The Front Line” TV star Daniel Duffield. He was 24 years old and Lauren Evans was 22.

The first line of investigation is murder, but there is no official version yet.

The bodies were found on Tuesday by colleagues of Duffield, who was part of the television program that details what the day-to-day life of the emergency services is like and accompanies them as they serve the population.

The couple were found on Alpine Drive in Hednesford, Staffordshire, England, the BBC reported.

Daniel Duffield was a paramedic and a star of English television’s Channel 4 show “999: On The Front Line.”

He worked for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, at its center in Willenhall. Duffield had shared a photo of himself with Lauren on her Instagram Story just two weeks ago, captioned: “Friday date night fun,” taken at a bowling alley.

“Daniel Duffield was a well-known member of staff and was always happy to help and support his colleagues,” said Richard Barratt, executive at West Midlands Ambulance Service.

He added: “His death at such a young age is a great tragedy. I hope Daniel’s family can find solace in the hundreds of patients he helped during his time as a paramedic.”

Staffordshire Police said they were investigating the incident.
