When Supremme de Luxe discovered that she had to imitate Alaska and Sara Montiel’s duet, she didn’t think twice with the friend she wanted to invite for this great number on Tu cara me sona 11. Paca La Piraña has been her partner to recreate the video clip for the song ‘Absolutamente’ and the two have been pure spectacle in a performance to frame.
The first thing that caught our attention was their characterization: Supremme, an exact double of Alaska; and Paca, with an extraordinary resemblance to Saritísima. The staging had an aesthetic somewhere between glam and disco. And a lot of leopard print, although tiny in the case of the two bodybuilders who accompanied them. Of course, they were not naked as in the original video.
Supremme’s resemblance to Alaska was also in her voice and attitude. In fact, it was one of her best imitations in the entire edition. At her side, Paca made a wonderful tribute to Sara, copying her gestures and her way of singing. Relive this fantasy in the video!
The one who also had to use her acting skills was Conchita, in the previous number, to imitate Sophie Ellis-Bextor. She has recreated the video clip for the song ‘Murder on the dancefloor’ and has become an ambitious dancer capable of doing anything to win.
The singer’s great challenge has once again been a complicated voice as well as a choreography with a lot of trickery. For the staging, she has counted on Borja Rueda as a dance partner and the entire ballet of Tu cara me suena 11 as ‘rivals’, and the result has been an impressive number full of rhythm and colour.
