On Saturday, June 29, the CDMX LGBT Pride March will take place, the concentration of participants will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Ángel de la Independencia and At noon, the contingents will be set in motion, with a route that will pass through Paseo de la Reforma, Avenida Juárez and 5 de Mayo until reaching the Zócalo.

The motto this year will be “In the face of an oppressive state and an indifferent society, we demand to live with dignity!” and consequently, the contingents will be led by members of organizations dedicated to cases of murders, disappearances and other actions of violence against the LGBT+ community.

There will also be contingents of students, artists and corporations such as unions, companies and political organizations.

The lawsuits will focus on the cessation of hate speech rooted in society.

There will also be space for celebration, and among the shows that are part of the event are the singers Mariana Seoane and Myriam Montemayor, the impersonator Britany Esparza, and the participation of Lucía Méndez, who will be crowned “Eternal LBT Queen.”

Kimberly Irene “The Most Precious” will be crowned gay queen and Sergio Mayer will participate as an ambassador of the movement.
