Julia Vial confirmed the breakup of his marriage with Leopoldo Munoz, after having been together for more than 25 years.
The news was announced by the television host herself in We Can Talk (PH), program hosted by Julio César Rodríguez. It should be noted that until then, she had not referred to the decision she made with the father of her children.
According to their own words, their distance as a couple was the reason for their separation.
“Suddenly we realized that we were tremendous parents, but that we had lost touch with each other as a couple,” he began by saying in the conversation space.
«The decision to separate is never easy, there are always wounds, it is never simple and you have to try to move on,» he concluded.
Who is Leopoldo Muñoz?
Leopoldo «Polo» Muñoz, is a journalist and film critic graduated from Finnis Terrae University in 1997.
From 2002 to 2005 he worked at National Television of Chile (TVN) as a culture reporter. In this space of the public signal he had the possibility of conducting interviews and coverage of different actors and/or events of international cinema. After exploring new areas of work, He began a career as a film critic at Las Últimas Noticias and CNN.
In 2021 he directed the fiction short film “Daydreaming”, the project that tells the story of a woman who has nightmares at night about the Chilean social outbreak that took place on October 18, 2019.
Although he has a long career on the small screen, he has recently been in the public eye after his now ex-wife, Julia Vial, confirmed the marital breakdown after 25 years of relationship and two children together.
