The journalist Sebastián Heredia revealed some details of what was experienced within the Colombian National Team led by Néstor Lorenzo, who would have been upset by this situation. “There is a lot of information that can be given from an alleged injury to Matheus Uribe, which never existed,” he said initially.
He then said that: “Prior to the Bolivia game, throughout the week it was said that Matheus Uribe was injured. They denied me all week and he was 100% physically.”
According to the journalist, Uribe would have withdrawn from a training session due to “a personal matter” that would have nothing to do with his physical condition. “They are very cautious because they do not like to leak things,” he added.
It was then that he explained the reasons that had caused the strategist to feel uneasy. “Those journalists who want clicks made up the Matheus Uribe story and that really bothered Lorenzo,” Heredia added.
The Colombian National Team will have the entire squad available for the match against Costa Rica this Friday, June 28, with the exception of Jhon Lucumí, who had discomfort in his debut, so he would miss this match.
