He ‘Challenge XX’ from Caracol Televisión became part of Colombian nights during the first week of April, becoming the most watched program in the country, featuring the presenters Andrea Serna and Mafe Aristizábal and the 32 participants who came to show their physical and mental abilities . However, a few days ago a former beauty queen reported that she was the victim of a million-dollar scam to be part of ‘Desafío XX’.
What happened to the ‘XX Challenge’?
During one of the episodes of the entertainment program ‘La red’, the former beauty queen, Daniela Guerrero, who was Miss Córdoba, confessed that one of her biggest dreams beyond her passing through the National Beauty Contest was to be able to enter the Caracol ‘Challenge’, So much so that after reaching the age of majority she registered year after year hoping to be chosen on some occasion, however, on no occasion was she called by the members of the program.
However, in 2024 the opportunity appeared in which he thought his dream could come true: “I met a person who seemed wonderful. After the reign, he contacted me again on Instagram and tells me that they are looking for women, especially for the challenge. Also what was going to happen to me Sebastián Martino’s number (Desafío judge), well I’m happy.”

Next, Guerreo confessed that he began talking to the scammer through digital platforms, who assured him that if he wanted to enter the contest it would have a price of two million pesos. It should be noted that since the beginning of the last registrations that were given at the end of the 2023, Caracol made it clear that no money was asked from the contestants to reach ‘reality’, this was due to not only his physical abilities, but also his desire to get ahead.
However, the request for money did not end there, because on a second occasion she requested the same amount, according to her, in order to help her reach the grand final: “I never spoke on a call with Sebastian Martino, I never saw a photo, I never heard an audio, but I blindly believed because he was a person in whom I had a lot of confidence. I received a letter that had Caracol’s number, it has everything. You say, it’s legitimate, but they sent it to me via WhatsApp.”
The former beauty queen reiterated that until the end she thought it was real and in total she ended up depositing 4,600,000 pesos, but his dream came crashing down when he saw the broadcast of the new season of the reality show at the beginning of April. Due to the lack of evidence, the Prosecutor’s Office did not validate his complaint, while Martino reiterated that Caracol does not ask for money to be able to enter and advance within the competition.
