A whole meeting between Amy Farrah Fowler and Sheldon Cooper to say goodbye to the prequel

There is just over a week until ‘Young Sheldon’ ends and the American network CBS is gearing up to say goodbye to the successful prequel to ‘The Big Bang Theory’. The episode, of double duration, will air next May 16 in the United States and now we can take a look at his most anticipated cameo.

I’m talking about the meeting of Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik as the laureates Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler, all guests of honor to say goodbye to the comedy. And judging by the photos, it looks like this appearance has a lot to do with Parsons’ narrator role as the adult Sheldon.

End of the book

Something that can be deduced from seeing Sheldon in front of a computer, giving us to understand that he is finishing writing the story of his life… and that has been narrated in these seven seasons of ‘Young Sheldon’. But Parsons, who is executive producer of the prequel, was not the only narrator, since Bialik also lent his voice for a couple of episodes.

And the images not only give us what Sheldon and Amy look like years later, we also see the occasional nod to ‘The Big Bang Theory’. For example, we see the Nobel Prize medal, a photo of the couple taken in that last episode, and we observe the gigantic atomic model that once decorated Leonard and Sheldon’s apartment, a Flash mug, or a “Rubik’s cube” coaster reminiscent of the tissue box they once had, among others.

Let’s remember that, although ‘Young Sheldon’ ends next Friday in the United States (in Spain it will still take us a while to see it on Movistar Plus+), this does not mean the end of the franchise. In fact next fall we will see’Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage‘, the spin-off starring Montana Jordan and Emily Osment. Also, Chuck Lorre has been working on another spin-off for Max for years, but nothing is known about it yet.
