“He was hospitalized due to injuries to his legs. You can imagine the leg as if it were a container: if you put too much inside it, it eventually expires. His skin breaks down and ulcers appear, especially in a diabetic like him. He was already coming along with all this and “We decided to admit him so he can continue in the program,” the doctor explained.
“It started to appear and now I got an ulcer on my foot and the truth is that the pain is killing me. Sometimes my wife has to clean me or tie my shoelaces… We end up with these diseases, with swollen feet. Given this situation, the program’s medical team decided to admit him to cure him as soon as possible so that he can continue in the competition.

He was accompanied by Adrian Cormillot, who explained the situation. “This hospitalization was on medical advice and it is very important that I do it because the procedure that was performed today generates a lot of tissue movement. He is stable, the hospitalization is preventive. The healings are strong,” he explained. And he gave the floor to the participant: “I feel good, I was very scared about the topic of cures, because I commented that they hurt a lot. But here they treated me differently. It was painful but quick, they gave me some creams that they had not given me elsewhere. Now I am calmer, they talked to me, they came here and calmed me down,” he said.
“I have a little pain because of the cleaning issue but they told me that it is normal and with the medication it will improve,” Ernesto added.
