The iconic RCN production “Yo Soy Betty, la fea” will return to the channel’s nighttime programming this June. The broadcast comes after the announcement of the new season, ‘Ugly Betty: The Story Continues’, which will air in the middle of next month on the Prime Video streaming platform.

The soap opera, written by Fernando Gaitán, was included in the “Guinness Book of Records” as the “most successful soap opera in the history of television”, being broadcast in 180 countries, dubbed into 25 languages and having, at least, about 28 adaptations. In October 2019, the production reached the Netflix platform with a total of 335 episodes, remaining in the top 10 most viewed in Latin America.
Date and Time ‘I am Betty, the ugly one’
The classic Colombian soap opera, starring Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello, will air from Monday to Friday, one month before the new season. That is to say, ‘Yo Soy Betty, la fea’ will return to the RCN Channel screens on June 18 at 9:30 pm
This story centers on Beatriz Pinzón Solano, an intelligent and capable woman who is not attractive by traditional beauty standards. Despite her difficulties, Betty manages to succeed in the fashion world thanks to her intelligence, hard work, and kindness.
