Some days ago, Mega confirmed that a popular Turkish television series that aired eight years ago will return to our screens soon: “Medcezir“. The production is the Ottoman version of the North American “The OC” that the Fox network aired between 2003 and 2007 with four seasons.

The fiction was starred by Çagatay Ulusoy and Serenay Sarikaya between the years 2013 to 2015, when it was originally broadcast. It focuses on the history of Yaman (Ulusoy), who lives in precarious conditions with his brother Kenan (Ali Aksöz).

Both are arrested for car theft and are defended by Selim (Barış Falay), a lawyer who sees in the teenager a man of integrity. For this reason, he decides to open the doors of his house and add him to his family with his wife. Ender (Mine Tugay) and his shy son Mert (Taner Ölmez).

“Medcezir” was a success when it was broadcast between 2016 and 2017, achieving in its more than 160 chapters an average rating of 16.6 points. Even in his final chapter he managed to double the competition, scoring more than 18 points.

What time will “Medcezir” go?

Although Mega confirmed that “Medcezir” will return to its screens, It has not yet defined the date of its premiere or its schedule.. What is clear is that it will join the other Turkish productions that are on the air: “Yargi” and “Seyrán y Ferit”.
