If only it can be highlighted only one megahit in the history of soap operas, that would be ‘I am Betty, the ugly one’. The Colombian series was only on the air for about three years but is, in fact, the most successful in the history of television, generating more than two dozen international adaptations (in Spain it was ‘Yo soy Bea’)… and now it returns 23 years after its end with a new series.

The luck of the ugly

Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Ugly Betty, the story continues‘ which brings us back to the cast with Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello again playing the now separated Betty and Armando. It will be a death at Ecomoda that brings the woman back to the company, who is reunited not only with her former co-workers but also with her daughter Mila, who has been studying in New York.

In this way, the script of Marta Betoldi, César Betancur, Valeria Gómez and Luis Carlos Ávila, will have the protagonist making difficult decisions, rebuilding her daughter’s relationship and seeing what happens with her relationship with Armando, ready to win her back.
