The series “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc” is still on fire with its sixth chapter. Under the title of “The Strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps”, this episode is brimming with unique, fun, epic and intense moments.

The new episode of the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime picks up at the end of the previous episode, where Tanjiro and Zenitsu arrive at some waterfalls where the training of the rock pillar, Gyomei Himejima, takes place. In this scene, Gyomei is in the middle of a challenge, carrying two giant logs with just his back while he is surrounded by fire, exhibiting his extraordinary stamina and balance. Gyomei’s training begins with a focus on stabilizing the body through the use of the limbs, which promotes precision in attacks and solid defense. Physical endurance plays a crucial role in every matchup, so it is imperative to consider muscle strengthening.

The Rock Pillar training consists of three tests: the first consists of standing under the waterfall, the task of holding three colossal logs on the shoulders and pushing a rock in a village. Even though Zenitsu faints due to the intensity of the training, Gyomei, without showing empathy, orders him to be immersed in the river of icy waters, forcing him to rejoin the training session. Tanjiro begins his training under the waterfall with Inosuke, making little progress on the first day. During dinner, Zenitsu intensely questions the Pillar’s rigorous training and his own abilities, while Gyomei does not hesitate to demonstrate his own by dragging a giant heavy rock, an act that inspires Tanjiro and encourages Inosuke.

After six days of intense training, Tanjiro is discouraged by the lack of progress. At that moment, Genya Shinazugawa appears, who encouragingly points out to Tanjiro the birthmark on his forehead, suggesting that it could be an indication of the awakening of the hunter’s mark. Genya also gives him guidance on paying attention to the Pillar’s repetitive movements, since Gyomei, not being very skilled at explaining, has passed that test. All this happens while Gyomei listens silently from the trees. The next day, Tanjiro tries to move the rock again, this time following Genya’s advice and remembering his family, managing to move it slightly.

In this episode, the Infinite Dimension fortress is revealed, where Nakime, the fourth crescent moon, informs Muzan that she knows the location of 60% of the hunters, but has not yet found Nezuko Kamado. Muzan is surprised to see Nakime’s progress as a higher-ranking demon and vows to find the sun-defying demon soon.
