Stepping on Spanish soil has meant testing yourself for the last time after 104 days of competition. After Arkano was eliminated by public vote, Marieta, Pedro Aguado and Rubén Torres remained as the last three participants who raised the temperature and tension in the final votes where finally, Pedro García Aguado was established as the great winner of this edition. But the truth is that the excitement of the day began much earlier.
On a rainy afternoon in the middle of spring in Madrid, the helicopter landed with the survivors a few meters from the set in Mediaset. Visibly excited and eager to enjoy the evening, the finalists jumped out of the aircraft to greet Sandra Barneda, to Jorge Javier and his teammates who I haven’t seen for a while since they have been previously eliminated.
After months in Honduras testing themselves as survivors, these weeks have not been easy for any of the participants and that is why the greatest merit is having reached the final, not only for having shown great physical and mental skill, but also for having conquered a large number of viewers throughout our country thanks to their personalities and ability to coexist.
